The beauty about handbuilding clay is that you can build nearly anything; all you need is clay, patience and a little imagination. While wheel-throwers always begins with a cylinder, hand builders can begin with any shape.

In our intro to handbuilding workshops, students learn the fundamentals of handbuilding techniques, coil, slab and pinching, that will allow them to make any functional ware or sculpture. 

Bring your ideas, sketches and inspiration because this workshop is designed to bring your ceramic dreams to life! Past students have made mugs, plates, pipes, soap dishes, vases, sculptures, and even lamps!

Refund Policy

A full refund is available 7 days prior to class start. If cancellation is made less than seven days prior to class start, there will be a $75 cancellation fee that will be deducted from the paid registration fee.
