Caitlin Prince gratefully acknowledges that she resides and practices ceramics on the traditional lands and the unceded territories of the Coast Salish people — səl̓ílwətaʔɬ (Tsleil-Waututh),  Sḵwx̱wú7mesh  (Squamish), and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musquem) Nations.

Caitlin attended Emily Carr University with a focus in sculpture and ceramics and uses a combination of hand-building and wheel throwing to produce her own work. Whether you have played around before, or are completely new to ceramics, our beginners hand-building class is an excellent way to learn the basics to make some cool objects. Caitlin will introduce you to a number of tools and techniques including coil building, slab building, pot pinching, and DIY slump molds. Each class will focus on a different technique, and will also allow time to expand on skills previously learned. Questions and suggestions are encouraged!

Caitlin will help you make some rad shit stuff your mom will be proud of. Take matter into your own hands like a god. Caitlyn has made hand-building her specialty and we're lucky to have her for this course.

There are only 4 spots available as we would really want you to get the attention and guidance you need to develop proper skills.

20% of your tuition allows disenfranchised BIPOC and children of the Downtown Eastside to take our classes, too.
